In very rare conditions (fewer than 1 in 100 restarts), a GS2 Processor running 6.3 and earlier, may fail to startup or restart properly, with the fan operating at high volume and maximum speed and all front panel LEDs off. This issued was resolved with GRIDSMART 6.4.

A 6.3 or earlier GS2 found in this condition should be powered down completely by disconnecting the power, for at least 60 seconds, before reapplying power.
