PREREQUISITES: GS2’s must first be updated to 21.3.

CRITICAL NOTE ABOUT THE UPDATE: The 21.3.1 update includes fixes for the GS2 and GRIDSMART App. The GS2 update can only be applied through the device manager. Upon reboot, it may take several minutes for the system to start up while the operating system updates are applied, with both the STATUS and CAMSTAT LEDs flashing during this time.

NOTICE: Future releases will require processors to be updated to 21.3.

FIX: Resolves an issue in the App when installing on a computer that has multiple users. This update will now correctly migrate all files from previous Client installations to the correct users in 21.3.1. Users who did not have earlier versions of the Client were not affected by this issue.

FIX: Resolves an issue where the 21.3 App required administrator privileges to run after upgrading from previous versions. The App will now correctly run under a standard user account.

FIX: Fully resolves an ongoing bug on the GS2 where API calls made shortly after midnight could result in data loss for the previous day.

FIX: Resolves an error on GS2s with Cloud enabled that caused some Count data uploads to fail.

FIX: Removes an extra comma at the end of CSV rows in raw bike counts retrieved using the API.

FIX: The App's Reporting controls are no longer cut off on screens with a vertical resolution of 768 pixels.

IMPROVEMENT: Improves pedestrian tracking and counting around dusk and dawn, in some cases up to 90% improvement.

IMPROVEMENT: Minor improvements to tracking and detecting left-turning vehicles.
